 Security measures

The general conditions of admission to the stadium and the security measures can be consulted on the posters displayed outside the ground.

Ticket Holders agree to abide by the specific rules which may be established for a specific stadium.

Access to the stadium

Access to the stadium may be refused, by any member of the security personnel, stewards or any other legally authorised person, to a Ticket Holder presenting himself with an animal, and/or in particular carrying the following items:

-a weapon of any kind and, more generally, any object that could be used as a weapon;
-projectiles of any kind;
-inflammable or explosive substances, liquids or gases, fireworks of any kind;
more generally, objects, materials and substances that are likely to be a threat to security and public order, or even disrupt the playing of the Match or else be likely to cause damage to persons or property;
-alcoholic drinks, drugs or stimulants;
-banners or any other sign of an offensive, malicious or provocative character, bearing a political, ideological or religious text or message;
-articles and other materials of a promotional or commercial character;
-more generally, any other object identified by the above mentioned persons as likely to endanger the security and/or reputation of France 2007.

Access to the stadium will be refused to any person obviously under the influence of alcohol, drugs or any other substance modifying their behaviour or to any person adopting or clearly displaying signs of violent or harmful behaviour or behaviour that is contrary to public order.

Similarly, access to the stadium will be refused to any person whose name appears on the lists drawn up by the competent country authorities or who has been prohibited from attending a sports event on the basis of a decision by a court or any other competent national or international authority, in particular, the executive authorities and bodies for rugby.
 
Any Ticket Holder who is refused access to the stadium for any of the above mentioned reasons will have his Tickets cancelled without any right to reimbursement, and the above unauthorised objects will be withdrawn or confiscated by the security personnel, stewards and/or any other legally authorised person.

Security measures

To ensure the safety of the public, the stadium can be equipped with a video surveillance system controlled by a law officer and which may be used in criminal proceedings. A right of access is planned for pursuant to article 10-V of the law dated 21 January 1995.

To ensure compliance with the security conditions, all security personnel, stewards or any other legally authorised person reserve the right, in accordance with the applicable legal rules, to search any Ticket Holder at the time he enters the stadium and at any time once inside the stadium.

Reciprocally, Ticket Holders undertake in these circumstances to submit to any control and to comply with the instructions of the afore-named persons.
 
As a safety measure also and to respect public order, Ticket Holders are strictly prohibited on penalty of exclusion, from doing any of the following:
 
-throw, fling, hurl, set fire to any object, food, etc. on the pitch and/or in any other part of the stadium;
a-ct violently, in particular by inciting to violence, racism or xenophobia or behaving in a manner likely to be interpreted as being threatening or aggressive;
-express ideas or slogans of a nationalist, political, religious, ethnic or racist nature;
-make threat to the life or safety of another;
-climb the projector pylons, fencing, roofs and eaves and, more generally, any unauthorised construction or part of the stadium;
-move around between the different sectors of the stadium using prohibited areas;
-more generally, cause any damage to any person and/or property by any means.
The pitch is permanently out of bounds for spectators. Any intrusion on the pitch constitutes a breach and will result in the person being excluded from the Match grounds.
 
It is strictly prohibited, on penalty of being excluded, to carry out any promotional or commercial activity inside the stadium, particularly to own with the intention of selling, offering for sale and/or selling merchandise such as beverages, food, souvenirs, clothing, promotional or commercial articles, without the prior written authorisation of the Organising Committee of the 2007 Rugby World Cup. The merchandise recovered as a result of the breach of the preceding clause may be withdrawn or confiscated temporarily by the stewards and/or by any other legally authorised person.

Finally, the Organising Committee of the 2007 Rugby World Cup reserves the right to bring legal proceedings against any person not complying with one or more of the obligations mentioned above in terms of security and respect of public order.
